You Kicked ME!!!

From Mama...

I had just thrown up and laid down in the bed. Your dad came over and was about to read to you from the Bible. He said something like hey buddy if you can hear me kick your mama. My hand happened to be on my belly and I felt you kick for the first time. At first, I was doubted that it was you kicking me, even though it felt different than anything I had felt before. I wrote it off as my belly churning after throwing up. However, I have felt it a few more times since then and when I described it to the nurse she said that is exactly how people describe kicks. You are obedient!! You did what your dad asked!!! :) (Let's just hope you continue to be obedient and do what we ask!!! )

My First Mother's Day

You're dad is so sweet! He got me a massage, which proves once again that he knows me and loves me!!! My mama and dad got me a card and a massage! I get to get 2 massages!!! I am pumped. Mrs. Jeannie gave me a picture frame for ultrasound pics! June and T-Willie were donated a well in your honor! Mrs. Lydia got me a card! I feel so loved!

Oh and Tyler, the contemporary worship leader, asked me to get up and talk about my mama. There was a line of us up on stage and he asked me to go last. Pregnancy hormones set in and I bawled like a baby!

From Dad,

He keeps growing inside there. This was our third time to see our baby. Carrie was excited because the ultrasound lady got to use the one they put on your belly from the outside (so much more comfortable). It is so much fun to see how excited my little wife gets when she sees the baby inside her. Incredible. If you can imagine it, she is more excited than you ever see her. Yeah, that's excited.

I want to make sure that you see in the third picture, (right next to me) the baby is waving to me although Carrie will tell you that is to her. Already social like mama!!!
