You go to change out purses to a smaller one and you have to leave some things that you have always deemed essentials in order to fit your pregnancy meds which now are the most essential essentials... (i.e. tums, saline solution, tuck pads, etc.)
The very thought of certain smells make you wanna puke (and you aren't even in your first trimester anymore so its not that you are just queasy all the time) ... hairspray, tuck pads, closely followed by preperation h, your dad's deoderant right after he uses it, etc.)
You consistently run into things with your belly (no worries - I never hit it to hard - just enough to let me know I didn't make it passed the object). Today's mishaps occurred with the door latch (the little knob that sticks out of side of the door that latches to close the door), a chair, and a wall. I guess I'm still adjusting to the new belly size.
You crave Johnny's, go to the buffet the day after your dr. appt., and go to sit down and your butt hits the booth and your belly hits the table. Definitely a first for me. Your dad was kind enough to say that they were pushed too close together which they were, but it was such a laughable moment that I had to share!
I have decided to do a theme of You Know You Are Pregnant When... blogs. These will be written when I have movements when I realize...This is definitely a pregnant woman moment. My first You Know You're Pregnant When...
You bring a whole bag of Ginger Snaps in your purse to church to keep down the nausea.
We have absolutely no idea what we are doing, so please offer all ideas, wisdom and help you have. That's our story. Hopefully as you read the rest of these stories you will also pray for us and our child as we begin this great adventure.
