From Mama...
Tonight we got to go eat at Mrs. Louise Bibbs' house. She is one of those people that I look up to so much that I hope to be like her when I get older. She is a hard worker for the LORD and she serves Him relentlessly at the young age of ___ (I will leave this blank in order to protect the innocent, but just know she is older than your grandmothers). When we went to sit down for dinner, she had presents for you sitting under our napkins. So thoughtful and sweet! The dinner was delicious! I was super appreciative because I feel bad for your dad that I haven't cooked much lately. Don't get me wrong, your dad never complains, but I was so glad he got a home cooked meal! After dinner, we visited for awhile. Side note: Visit often with people who are lots older than you. They often have tons of wisdom that will be helpful for you in life. Side note over. When we were about to leave, I offered to help Mrs. Louise with the dishes. Her response was priceless, "Honey, you are not in your prime right now. Go home and rest." Here she was a woman in her __'s, who works all day, made us dinner, and then sent me home to rest while she cleaned the kitchen. She is always teaching me about being a servant.
